AK Party Diyarbakır Deputy Mehmet Sait Yaz: 'The way to silence Israel is to respond in kind'

Speaking outside the agenda at the Turkish Grand National Assembly, AK Party Diyarbakır Deputy Mehmet Sait Yaz harshly criticized Israel's attacks on Palestinian lands. Yaz began his speech by reading a verse from the Quran's Al-Baqarah Sura and evaluated Israel's violence and regional goals.

'Israel kills women, children and the elderly every day'
Yaz stated that Israel targets civilian areas and said, 'Every day, it ruthlessly massacres temples, hospitals, schools, markets, women, children, the elderly, anyone it targets regardless of race, religion, language or geography.' He said that Israel has put the entire Middle East, especially Gaza, in a ring of fire.

'America provides weapons, Gulf countries pay the bill'
Emphasizing that Israel was not acting alone, Yaz argued that these attacks were part of a global plan: 'It is doing all of this on the orders of the great devil America and its supporters. America provides the weapons, the Gulf countries pay the bill.'

'Türkiye could be the target tomorrow'
Stating that the instability in the region also threatens Türkiye, Yaz warned, "Yesterday it was Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, today it is Iran, tomorrow it is undoubtedly Turkey that will be the target."

'Condemnation is not enough, there must be a response in kind'
Criticizing the passivity of the international community and the Islamic world, Yaz reacted by saying, "Muslims should silence this thug who has lost his humanity not by condemning him, but by responding in kind."
