Deputy Minister of National Defense Bilal Durdalı met with senior defense officials at the LIMA Fair

Diplomatic contacts at the international fair
Deputy Minister of National Defense Bilal Durdalı made important contacts on the third day of the Langkawi International Maritime and Aviation Fair (LIMA) held in Malaysia. Durdalı met with Malaysian Defense Minister Mohamed Nordin within the scope of the fair.

Military cooperation was discussed
The talks discussed defense industry cooperation between the two countries, regional security issues and future joint projects. Durdalı also met with Admiral Datuk Zulhelmy Bin Ithnain, Commander of the Malaysian Naval Forces. Maritime security and training and exercise cooperation between the two countries' navies were discussed during the meeting.

Land forces contact with Saudi Arabia
Durdalı’s other contact during the day was with the Chief of Staff of the Saudi Arabian Land Forces, Hamid Al-Omari. During the meeting, possible joint exercises between the two countries’ land forces, cooperation in the defense industry and regional military issues were discussed.
