Erdoğan and Iranian President Pezeshkian met: 'Netanyahu is sabotaging the nuclear process'

The harshest response to Israel
President Erdoğan stated that he condemned Israel's attacks on Iran in the strongest terms and conveyed his condolences to the Iranian people for the loss of life resulting from the attacks. Erdoğan stated that Israel's actions were a clear violation of international law.
 
'The aim is to engulf the entire region in fire'
Erdoğan stated that Israel aims to drag not only Iran but also the entire region into the fire with the attacks. He also said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is trying to sabotage Iran's nuclear negotiation process through these attacks.
 
'They want to make us forget the genocide in Gaza'
During the meeting, Erdoğan also emphasized that Israel was trying to divert the attention of the international community from the genocide in Gaza with its attacks on Iran. It was stated that Türkiye was following these developments with concern.
 
Monitoring nuclear risk at Natanz
Erdoğan said that Türkiye was closely following developments regarding the possibility of a nuclear leak at the Natanz facility. Erdoğan also emphasized that the only way to resolve nuclear disputes was through diplomacy.
