NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte: "Türkiye, Ukraine plays a critical role in the peace process"
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte called President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan after the Ukrainian Summit in Washington and evaluated the course of the war and the latest developments in the peace process.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, US President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volimir Zelenski and the European Union leaders attended the Ukrainian summit in the White House.
After the summit, Rutte made a telephone conversation with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on the way back.
Turkey's role in the peace process
In a statement made by the Presidency of Communication, Rutte and Erdogan, Turkey's peace process in Ukraine and the importance of the Black Sea security said.
It was also reported that the two leaders also agreed to contribute to the peace process of Turkey, one of the most important members of NATO and to maintain close coordination.
