Şefik Ugly with GOOD Party: “Hataylı earthquake victims were not enough, and applications for right and on -site transformation should be extended”

GOOD Party Hatay Deputy Şefik Ugly, in his speech at the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on July 2, 2025, drew attention to the problems experienced in the applications of right and on -site transformation within the scope of housing projects carried out in Hatay after the earthquake.

"1,000 people could not submit a petition, there is a loss of rights"
Ugly, approximately 1,000 people could not apply for rights for various reasons, stating that this situation is repeated both in Hatay and other earthquake zones.

"In -site transformation was a breath for Hatayli"
Stating that the construction of large -scale contractors in Hatay does not contribute to the city tradesmen, the Ugly, on -site transformation supports the people directly from local master to tradesmen, he said.

"Application time was not enough, applications remained at 30 percent"
Reminding that the application period for on-site transformation ended on June 30, the Ugly said that the applications remained at the level of 20-30 percent.

"Hatays live in extraordinary conditions, the times should be extended"
Earthquake -affected citizens, transportation, infrastructure and lack of income, such as struggling with many problems stating, "These people in three -hour traffic, dust, electricity is fighting in life.

"We want empathy, the new application right should be granted"
Şefik Ugly, who called to the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, demanded that the application periods be extended for both right and on -site transformation.
