KAAN exports were praised on the Parliament agenda
AK Party Konya Deputy Mustafa Hakan Özer, speaking at the TBMM General Assembly on June 12, 2025, evaluated the export agreement for 48 units of Türkiye's national combat aircraft KAAN. Özer stated that this agreement signed with the friendly and brotherly country Indonesia announced to the world public the level that the Turkish defense industry has reached.

In his speech, Özer drew attention to the role of engineers, technicians and defense industry workers in the implementation of the KAAN project and said, “This success is also the result of the vision that our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan brought to Türkiye.” He emphasized that Türkiye is no longer just a country that consumes, but also produces and exports technology.

Özer stated that KAAN is not just a warplane, but also a symbol of Türkiye's determination and resolve. He made a symbolic definition of the project by saying, "This success is not just the flight of a plane, but the declaration to the world that a nation that believes in itself can fly with its own wings."

Describing this step taken in the defense industry as one of the most concrete indicators of the vision of the Turkish Century, Özer said that with these and similar moves, Türkiye is walking towards the future with confidence.
