BTK CANCELED 44 CERTIFICATES IN THE FAKE E-signature investigation, security measures were increased
The Information and Communication Authority has canceled 44 fake e-signs within the scope of the judicial investigation initiated by the Fake qualified electronic certificate (e-signature) cases.
Fake electronic certificate warning and judicial process was initiated from BTK USOM
Information and Communication Technology and Communication Authority (BTK) announced that the judicial process was initiated after technical findings regarding the cases of fake qualified electronic certificate (NES).
According to a statement from the authorities, the process was initiated upon the complaint of a university.
In the first stage, 35 fake e-signature were canceled.

BTK reported that security mechanisms were strengthened and awareness activities were initiated.

CTK emphasized that the struggle against digital fraud will continue with determination.
