Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya: "Since 8 December, 509 thousand 387 has returned to Syrian countries"
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that voluntary returns accelerated after the developments in Syria after 8 December 2024.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, social media account said in a statement about voluntary returns to Syria.
Yerlikaya, "After 8 December 2024, a total of 509 thousand 387 Syrian countries returned. Since 2016 volunteer returns have reached 1 million 249 thousand 390 people."
The return process is carried out in Adana
Yerlikaya emphasized that one of the most important centers in the return process of Syrians is the voluntary return coordination center in Adana Sarıçam.
Migration Management Emphasis
Yerlikaya said that Turkey maintains migration management with a human approach and a regular system and that they continue to support voluntary, safe and honorable feedback.
